I try to keep up with the latest and greatest tech and science that is available now and also set and ready to explode into the latest thing for everyone to utilize and enjoy!

LED lighting is such an instance who's time has come. The US military has been using LED lighting for years, but now, production has gone up and prices have come down so it available for everyone.


The 21st century is the energy conscious century and growing more so every day. We all want cleaner ways to make energy but ways of saving and conserving energy goes hand in hand with making it and is just as important.

LED bulbs and tubes cost more initially, but end up paying for themselves time and again because they are guaranteed to last for 5 years or 50,000 hours of continuous use. They even make LED tubes now that fit right into existing florescent light fixtures, making retrofitting even vast areas a snap!

Also, LEDs don't convert electricity into so much unwanted heat like the other forms of lighting do, so you don't pay for the high power usage lighting and then have to pay more money for air conditioning to overcome the heat you made, just to keep out of the dark!

Incandescent and fluorescent lighting has served us well for decades but the time has come to live as smart and up to date as possible! Using bulbs where the vast majority of the energy you use goes into heat, or tubes that create environmental problems due to having toxins in them is out! Gas efficient cars, not polluting and saving energy are the types of things that are going to allow us to make the world a better place for us and generations to come.
